Black girls can’t wear orange lipstick, right?

Beautiful Jasmine Tookes during and after Rag & Bone

Instantaneously it refreshes your look. Find the color that suits you best, add a bit of confidence (if needed) and wear a sick outfit. With that lipstick you don’t need to wear something else on the eyes. It makes the entire look.

How you can look like a beauty icon with one length hair

Since pop culture has accelerated to the top of social media and the fashion industry, kids out there would make rush to the mall and get their hair specifically looking like their favorite celeb. It didn't take long until you'd see them on Twitter/Instagram with purple hair messed up in a bun.
They must be the popular ones. You know, those hot girls who first started to wear crop tops with high waisted shorts. Back up about a year ago, everyone shaved their sides to look like Rihanna or Avril or Demi. Now, we have likes like Miley or Shailene who would lead you to chop off all your hair.

If you're one of those girls, or maybe just looking for a new 'do', I highly recommend,
'The One Length'.

So basically I need not to explain to you what that is, but for those who want to confirm what I'm referring to, One Length is a hairstyle in which the ends of the hair are all in one line, much looking like the time you open a fresh pack of hard and uncooked pasta sticks.

But why am I recommending this?
Because it is based on my own experience.

I have volumy, strong hair. Since I was a youngster, I would drop by the beauty parlor to get my hair refreshed after 6 months time. And every single time they would layer my hair. I was okay with it. Back then.
At age of 12, I started to realise that I didn't like the look of my hair. It was volumy on every layer and I thought it shaped like a rotten pumpkin. The worst thing I could remember about my super layered hair is that: I had so much hair on the top area and so little in the ends, so my longest hairs are at such high risk of falling off.
A few more hair struggles had past until I found pictures of models on runways and editorials with straight, one length hair.  I thought to myself, Wow. I want this.

But in order to get this hair style, I had to cut my hair to my shoulder. That meant I might experience the same thing I've experienced in those dark days. (Because I had layered and short hair, i looked like an apple.) So I was both very excited and hesitant of this decision. I couldn't just cut it all up after I've grew my with so much effort. But I was still optimistic about it. Knowing in my gut that this would be good.
After that decision my hair is now still one length and I get my ends trimmed just a tiny bit every now and then. I've never been more proud of my hair.

Here's what i love about it:

  • It looks simple and elegant
  • I found it easier to style it (curl, updo's)
  • There is no 'One strand flying away' business
  • There is no fallouts (tiny strands that don't get into the hair band) when tying my hair
  • I look good with headbands and head scarfs
  • I would look good in bangs anytime I choose to make them
  • I can just give my hair a quick comb and it's 100% Ready-To-Go
  • It can be classy to sexy in 0.002 seconds depending on how you deliver it
  • It goes with everything I wear
These are just my opinion.
One Length is definitely an iconic look because It's the very basic. It's a staple look for a happy and joyful girl. At the same time it is to also mysterious mature girl.

I find women with beautiful one length hair very sophisticated and knows what she is doing. To maintain a clean one length it would take so much effort that Just a few weeks of forgotten treatment and careless washing, it would lead to a disaster. Your ends would start to look zig-zaggy and the whole beauty to it would slowly fade. That's the biggest con of this look, I suppose.
I would suggest to give this look a try. weather your hair is thick or thin, Long or short.
But remember to treat your hair. Because if you do, it's surely worth the effort.

The Olsen Twins Wear Black Like No Other

Fashion doesn't always have to be colorful and dressy. To be honest, who has the time and energy to wear the latest prada boots and make a decent living every single day of their life?
Another question. Have you ever went through all of your 'pretty dresses section' and your 'I got this for sale but it's actually very expensive' area of your closet and just went,
"*sigh* I wore that a thousand times!"
Well its Time to run to your basics shelf and pick up some black.

Award winning brand, 'The Row' designers, Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen (aka. The Olsen Twins) love their black. Denim blue shirt with a hint of black accessories making the look even edgier, Black Dress with Maroon bags to give it some spunk, but my very favorite is their 'all black look'.
I mean, let's be serious. Yes they are around 5'2 and has been a cutie pie since 1986 but with  the 'all black look' they could pull of being Karl Lagerfeld's Evil step sisters. That's how to wear all black.
(Don't worry about my inaccurate anticipation, They're good friends.)

Since Birkenstocks are to die for these days, its pretty obvious that these mega fashion icons would style them into their street looks. Yes, all black of course. Try them with dresses/skirts, lengthed around your calves, or cropped pants ending around the ankle, but not without black sunglasses for those blinding summer afternoons.

They also wear their 'all black look' with pointed toe heels. Now I am such a fan of these shoes, they not only look strikingly gorgeous but very elegant, sexy, and the moment you wear them, your the boss. Pairing it with all black would increase that hot bossy look, and i bet no one would ever assume that your 5'2. (even though 5'2 is still an amazing height)

It may seem to be all cozy cocoon coats black and handsome pants but I can't tell you how much important it is to accessorise. Felt hats, leather boots, you need to make some kind of main character to the story you're telling through your style. It's good to invest in good bags or cool hats to really give that punch it needs for an all black. Want to wear, full black, same textured, plain looking pants and blouse, with a leather tote bag? Great Idea.
We've put together some essential items for the 'all black look' Olsen Twins Style.
So go! Try on these looks.

Be happy lovely readers. Till next time.

Belgian musician 'Stromae' releases a clothing line and it's GENIUS

Since the success of his second album < racine carrée >, Paul Van Haver, better known as Stromae,
pops up where we least expect him.

Born in Brussels, from a Belgian mother and a Rwandese father, he is soon interested in music: he learns music theory and practice drums. His musical adventure begin in 2000 heavily influenced by the rap music. He found in 2003 the band ‘suspiscion’with the rapper Jedi.

His hit ‘alors on dance’ from is album ‘cheese’ make the whole France dance during the summer 2009. His heyday past, nobody though see him ever again. Most of the people thought he was one of those shooting stars among many.

But Stromae has talent! His deep lyrics recall the Jacques Brel’s verve, a comparison  who tend to annoy.

Thanks to his second album’s critical but commercial success, Stromae is the artiste in vogue.
As well as Kanye West and Pharrell Williams, the 29 year old Belgian singer seems to have some fashionista’s DNA. The April first 2014, his first clothing line come out under the Belgian creative label “Mosaert” (the singer’s anagram). The unisex collection produced in Europe is inspired by college look, printing techniques and African wax. We have already seen the singer’s creations on stage and in his colorful clips.

Moesart is a unisex clothing line.
