Belgian musician 'Stromae' releases a clothing line and it's GENIUS

Since the success of his second album < racine carrée >, Paul Van Haver, better known as Stromae,

pops up where we least expect him.

Born in Brussels, from a Belgian mother and a Rwandese father, he is soon interested in music: he learns music theory and practice drums. His musical adventure begin in 2000 heavily influenced by the rap music. He found in 2003 the band ‘suspiscion’with the rapper Jedi.

His hit ‘alors on dance’ from is album ‘cheese’ make the whole France dance during the summer 2009. His heyday past, nobody though see him ever again. Most of the people thought he was one of those shooting stars among many.

But Stromae has talent! His deep lyrics recall the Jacques Brel’s verve, a comparison who tend to annoy.

Thanks to his second album’s critical but commercial success, Stromae is the artiste in vogue.

As well as Kanye West and Pharrell Williams, the 29 year old Belgian singer seems to have some fashionista’s DNA. The April first 2014, his first clothing line come out under the Belgian creative label “Mosaert” (the singer’s anagram). The unisex collection produced in Europe is inspired by college look, printing techniques and African wax. We have already seen the singer’s creations on stage and in his colorful clips.
